San Jose Holds Mighty Miracle Crusade

The HP Pavilion at San Jose hosts over a hundred events every year, from the National Hockey League’s San Jose Sharks and Arena Football League’s SaberCats to a sweeping spectrum of top entertainers, first-rate shows, and exhibitions. Few events, however, have garnered more attention than the Benny Hinn Ministries Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade, held September 27–28, 2007, with a tremendous response in both evening services for healing miracles and the greatest miracle of all—salvation.

Praise and worship music filled the auditorium, and Pastor Benny’s messages touched the hearts of people gathered from throughout the U.S. and several foreign counties. When he offered the salvation invitation, hundreds filled the aisles, including over 800 who accepted the Lord in one service alone!

The pastors seated on the platform marveled at the response as people streamed toward the front of the arena to pray the prayer of salvation with Pastor Benny and surrender their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ.

During each service people from throughout the Pavilion were touched by God’s healing power. Amazing miracle testimonies included these:

• A man had suffered with fibromyalgia for many years, but suddenly all his pain was gone.

• On Friday morning Emanual, an 18-year-old boy who had immigrated to the U.S., came forward to testify of how God had healed him from the problems caused by a drive-by shooting while he had been in the Chicago area. As Pastor Benny talked to him, he learned that Emanual’s fiancée had also been wounded in the shooting, a wound which caused her to lose her baby. When Pastor Benny inquired about the fiancée, Emanuel dropped his head and said, “She killed herself last Sunday!” Pastor Benny prayed for the young man, thanking God for His healing touch and asking God to remove the pain and heartache from his life. As the young man was about to leave the platform, Pastor Benny was informed that the young man had surrendered his life to Jesus Christ during the salvation call on Thursday evening, experiencing the greatest miracle of all.

• A lady with rheumatoid arthritis came to the crusade service in a wheelchair because it pained her too much to walk. After sharing with Pastor Benny what God had done for her, she darted across the platform, breaking into a full run, demonstrating God’s healing touch on her body. As she was about to leave the platform, she made the following statement to Pastor Benny: “I have always wanted to push my wheelchair rather than be in it.” Pastor quickly turned to the ushers on the platform and motioned for to them to carry the wheelchair down the stairs to the main floor area. The lady followed behind, walking down the steps unassisted. As she reached the bottom of the steps she grabbed the handles of the wheelchair and quickly pushed the chair down the aisle, her face beaming with joy at what God had done for her.

• A young man who has suffered with leukemia came to the platform wearing a hospital wristband. His physician had told him that he would need a blood transfusion each week to treat his ailment. He shared this testimony with Pastor Benny. During the first service he felt God’s healing touch and by faith received his healing. He was scheduled to receive his weekly transfusion the following morning, so he kept his appointment with his doctor. When he arrived, the young man told his doctor that he wouldn’t need a transfusion that day. Puzzled, the doctor inquired why. The young man replied that he had attended a miracle service the night before and was certain that God had healed him. “We’ll just see what the blood test says,” the doctor replied. Moments later the doctor returned with a confused look on his face. “I don’t understand it, but the test indicates that you don’t need a transfusion. I don’t see how that is possible.” As the young man shared his testimony with Pastor Benny, they both rejoiced at the miracle, which had been confirmed by his doctor earlier in the day.
  
  
• A young couple came to the platform. The husband was weeping almost uncontrollably. He began to explain what had happened to his wife, stating that she had been healed from Huntington’s disease, a rare disease that afflicts one in 10,000. With no known cure, her health had been rapidly deteriorating and he faced the loss of his wife. She had been unable to communicate, speaking with slurred speech that no one could understand. She had also been unable to walk normally and had impairment in her hands that made it impossible for her to touch her thumb to each of her fingertips. The doctors had told the couple that she would never be able to move her fingers again, but after God touched her, her slurred speech vanished and she was able to communicate with her husband, family, and Pastor Benny. She was also able to touch each fingertip with her thumb, on both hands. In addition, she was able to walk back and forth on the platform, unassisted. Her husband of only a few years wept tears of gratitude, sobbing between words as he expressed his amazement and gratitude at the miracle that had happened in his wife’s body. A smile spread across his wife’s face as she walked back and forth and talked with Pastor Benny.
  
  
• A little boy who had suffered with severe asthma from birth was touched by God’s healing power and was able to run without breathing difficulties. The smile on his face reflected the joy in his heart for what God had done for him.
  
  
• A woman with nodules in her nose couldn’t breathe well. She had taken pictures of the nodules in her nose just prior to the crusade. During one of the services, the nodules completely vanished and she could breathe freely.
  
  
• There were many miracles of healing from cancerous tumors.
  
  
• Many miracles of healing from various types of arthritis were greeted with applause and praise to the God who heals.
