As the time neared for the March 26–27 Benny Hinn Ministries Fire Conference and March 28 Miracle Service at the Georgia World Congress Center, excitement spread throughout the area among those planning to attend this life-changing event. The crowd arrived from throughout the Southeast and East Coast with an obvious hunger for a deeper walk with God.
Anointed Fire Conference
Those who attended the conference at Atlanta’s GWCC experienced a memorable time of anointed worship and powerful teaching by Pastor Benny Hinn.
He began the Thursday evening session with an exciting report of current events in Israel, pointing to the prophetic significance of the recent conflict in Gaza and the impending war with Iran.
From that vantage point, he embarked on a dynamic teaching on the Holy Spirit.
“You receive the power of God when you get to know the Holy Spirit,” he said, citing his own experience as a young man in Canada, “and when you get to know the Holy Spirit, He will birth within you such a hunger! The Father seeks those who seek Him in spirit and in truth.
Power is not noise. The Holy Spirit is a person, and if you don’t understand that, you will end up in fanaticism. He is not an atmosphere, an influence, or a presence. He is a person with intellect, will, and emotions. We are to seek Him in spirit and in truth. As long as we see Him as anything but a person, we will try to use Him. But when you see Him as a person, you will give Him your life and allow Him to use you. You must see Him as real as Jesus, a mighty helper in every emergency of life. And He will change your life and ministry when you treat Him like a person.”
The Seven Covenants
During the Friday morning session, Pastor Benny continued teaching on the Trinity, focusing on the Person of the Holy Spirit.
He quoted the Scriptures: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
He then moved into the teaching of seven covenants between God and man:
“Throughout history the Holy Spirit reveals God to mankind,” he said. “The Holy Spirit reveals God to the redeemed. Salvation was God’s idea, bought by the blood of Jesus and revealed to us through the Holy Spirit. Prophecy is revealed by the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit is your companion, you will never hear the devil’s voice. You will hear the shepherd’s voice. And Father God is the source. God the Son always does what the Father says. Jesus is the doer. He does what the Father says. The Holy Spirit is the power.”
The Difference Between God’s Presence and Power
“The presence of God and the power of God are totally different,” Pastor Benny taught during the Friday evening service. “We as Christians need to experience both. The presence of God comes at salvation. The power comes so we can serve the Lord here on earth. When we talk about the presence of God we are talking about God’s glory and His ways. His presence will stay with you forever, and He will never leave you. “
In a dramatic comparison, Pastor Benny shared a remarkable difference: “The presence of the Lord stills your soul, changes you, cancels you, stills you, is always in you, and cannot be imparted to others. The more real the presence of Jesus Christ becomes, the quieter you become. However, the power of God is hidden inside His presence. While His presence brings gentleness, His power brings boldness. It makes you shout! The presence stills you, but the power stirs you. The presence of God is always in you in fullness, but the power is not eternal. Power is for war. It comes on you for a reason and a season.”
At the end of the final conference sessiion, Pastor Benny prayed over those who attended, asking for a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s presence and anointing upon those throughout the huge church auditorium.
Amazing Miracle Service
At the Saturday Miracle Service, Pastor Benny preached a faith-filled message, offering several scriptural references, reminding the crowd that it is God’s desire to save and heal all. As a result, aisles were filled with men, women, youth, and children praying to receive Jesus Christ as Savior.
Healings took place throughout the huge crowd. Testimonies were amazing, causing faith to rise among those in attendance:
A Challenge for the Future
“God did something remarkable in Atlanta through both the Fire Conference and the Miracle Service,” Pastor Benny reports. “I see
such great days ahead for the body of Christ throughout the Southeast, and I am asking my partners around the globe to pray that God will continue to touch an entire generation throughout this region. I see a new wave of outpouring coming, as people from all walks of life came into a new relationship and closeness with our Lord Jesus.”
A Special Thank You from Atlanta!
Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for you in helping to make the event in Atlanta possible. And as we look toward upcoming events in Ohio, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Uganda, and the Congo, I ask you to continue to stand with me.
I am waiting to hear from you today, and I pray that your gift will bring multitudes of lost souls to the cross. But I pray also that it will be multiplied into a vast harvest of financial blessings in your own life—in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
For it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6)…
Preaching the glorious Gospel,
teaching the unchanging Word,
and expecting the mighty and miraculous,
