Singapore’s Massive Indoor Stadium Holds Historic Miracle Crusadeb

For months people throughout the Pacific Rim made plans to attend Benny Hinn Ministries Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade in Singapore. This Is Your Day! has become a highly watched telecast throughout the entire region, so the expectancy for the crusade was especially widespread.

On April 13–15, 2007, in one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Singapore witnessed God’s power as never before! Lives were changed. Hearts were touched. Bodies were healed. The reports keep pouring in from people who attended, not only from Singapore, but also from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, China, Burma, India, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and many more nations.

The Singapore Indoor Stadium is an air-conditioned, multipurpose sports and entertainment facility designed by internationally acclaimed architect Kenzo Tange. Its unique, ultramodern design features an eye-catching roof that reflects traditional Asian cultural values. At its apex, the roof soars to an impressive 40 meters, making it one of the tallest single-story buildings in Singapore.

Since its opening in 1989, the Singapore Indoor Stadium has established a reputation as one of the world’s most successful event venues, and for three evenings, April 13–15, during the Benny Hinn Ministries Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade, the stadium was the place to be.

Capacity Crowd Hears the Gospel
Pastor Benny was welcomed by an enthusiastic audience each night in Singapore. The massive choir filled the air with anointed singing, and from the outset of each service, the power and presence of the Holy Spirit could be sensed by the capacity crowd.

Each night Pastor Benny began the service with a strong presentation of the Gospel, followed by an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Each night he carefully presented the plan of salvation, offering many scriptural references as he laid out the plan of salvation.

“The greatest miracle is not physical,” he said. “It is spiritual, for when you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, that is the greatest miracle. The question tonight is this, What will you do with Jesus? Don’t delay! If you don’t know Jesus Christ, come to Him now!”

As the choir sang the familiar lyrics of the hymn “I Surrender All,” people of all ages from various nations stood and made their way toward the front of the auditorium in response to the salvation call.

Miracles Fill Stadium
Each night Pastor Benny also preached a faith-filled message on healing. During the final service, he preached about the healing nature of Jesus-how He healed all and always had time to pray for the sick. Pastor Benny demonstrated the healing nature of Jesus by examining the life of Jesus found in the book of Matthew, pointing out how Jesus moved from one setting to another, always finding time for those in need-the leper, the blind man, Jairus, the woman with the issue of blood, and many more. Then he challenged those in need to trust this healing Jesus!

Amazing miracles filled the stadium during each of the three services:

• Many were healed from various forms of arthritis.
  
  
• Rows of wheelchairs sat emptied.
  
  
• A lady who worked as a nurse in Saudi Arabia traveled home to Malaysia to bring her husband to the Singapore crusade. Her husband had been ill for some time, and after becoming a believer during her employment in Saudi Arabia, she was filled with faith and came, trusting God for her husband’s healing, which he received dramatically by God’s power!
  
  
• A woman was healed of stomach cancer. As she pressed repeatedly on her stomach where she had once had extreme pain, she said over and over, “No pain, no pain!”
  
  
• Numerous kidney problems vanished.
  
  
• A woman was healed of a brain tumor. No symptoms or pain remained.
  
  
• Kidneys cancer was healed. All the pain associated with the condition vanished.
  
  
• Many people who had been deaf began to hear. One lady who had lost her hearing many, many years ago due to an infection began to hear.
  
  
• A man who had once required the use of two hearing aids came to the platform carrying them. The crowd erupted with praise to the Lord as he revealed that he could hear perfectly without them!
  
  
• A healing from scoliosis was reported.
  
  
• Breast cancer was healed, and a woman’s tumor completely disappeared.

In each service, so many people came forward to testify of God’s healing power that time did not allow for all to share their remarkable testimonies of healing and restoration.

Guests from China Greeted
On the final evening of the crusade, Pastor Benny discovered that several hundred people from Mainland China were present in the service. He invited all of them to the platform. When they had all finally gathered together with him, Pastor Benny began to talk to some of the people with the help of an interpreter. As the people responded to his inquiries, Pastor Benny was deeply moved by their passion and love for Jesus Christ.

“For two nights I have presented the Gospel message and shown you how to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Tonight I came prepared to preach another salvation message as I have during the past two services. However, as I look at the faces of these precious people from China and see the depth of their commitment to the Lord, I don’t think I need to preach that message tonight.”

Motioning toward the Chinese delegation gathered on the platform behind him, Pastor Benny said, “They are the message!” Wiping tears from his eyes, he continued by saying, “If you want to know Jesus Christ like these precious people know Him, stand to your feet and come down here right now. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ now!”

As the Chinese people prayed quietly behind him, Pastor Benny waited as hundreds of people responded and came forward to give their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ. It was a moving moment.

Ministry of the Choir
A massive choir filled the seats behind Pastor Benny in each of the three services, ministering in song each night. The choir was enthusiastic and responsive as Pastor Benny ministered, and it was quite apparent he was deeply touched and encouraged by the choir’s ministry.

During the final service, he stretched his hand toward the choir, asking God to touch them and anoint them for service. Suddenly the entire choir collapsed under the power of the Holy Spirit in one simultaneous motion!

“I wish I could take this choir with me!” Pastor Benny said afterward, and the choir erupted in applause and affirmation, cheering in response to his comment.

A Historic Crusade
Pastor Benny said, “There is such a widespread spiritual hunger throughout the country. During our last crusade in Singapore, this hunger was never more evident than during the salvation invitations each night. Thousands of men, women, and children responded to the message of the cross. This crusade was even more amazing. The Lord is doing something special in Singapore, and I am so thankful that He is allowing us to be part of the great move of God in that part of the world. I am asking partners all over the globe to pray for the people who were touched by God’s power during this crusade. This is such a critical time for the entire region, and I believe God has a mighty work to do. Pray that God will touch an entire generation throughout this nation never before!”
