Good Friday Candlelight Communion Miracle Service in Anaheim Reaches Hearts and Souls for Christ

Amazing Good Friday celebrations have become a memorable tradition for Benny Hinn Ministries. This year’s Candlelight Communion Miracle Service at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, reached a new zenith, with hearts and lives changed forever!

A Massive Celebration of Our Risen Lord

On April 6, 2007, Anaheim’s storied Honda Center became a tabernacle of praise, worship, and anointing as Pastor Benny Hinn and the huge coliseum crowd came together to celebrate the resurrection of our risen Lord and Savior!

Multitudes came from all over the nation and several foreign countries for the annual event which began with a stirring video presentation, “That’s My King!” The crowd responded with applause and cheers of triumph.

Immediately following the video, the choir presented a beautiful song of worship titled “King of Glory” with soloist Lisa Hughes, followed by majestic Easter hymns.

As Pastor Benny stepped onto the platform of the Honda Center, he was warmly received by a near-capacity crowd. An atmosphere of reverence and wonder filled the auditorium when anointed worship began and the life-changing presence of the Lord descended.

A Time of Dedication

After a time of praise and worship, Pastor Benny took time to welcome the people. He announced that a very special event was about to happen. As he called for his grandbaby, Theo Michael, he explained that he would be dedicating his grandson to the Lord that night.

As Michael and Jessica came to the platform, they carried their 15-month-old son, who was dressed in a beautiful white suit. Pastor Benny summoned the rest of the family to the platform. Family members included Natasha, Joshua, Eleasha, Pastor Benny’s mother, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Koulianos, Theo and Rachel Koulianos, and cousin Theo Koulianos.

As Pastor Benny placed his hands on his grandson and began to pray a prayer of dedication, Theo Michael was motionless as he looked into Pastor Benny’s face with his big brown eyes. All those present stretched their hands in agreement as the baby was dedicated to the Lord’s service.

When he concluded his prayer of dedication, the family began to exit the platform, but Pastor Benny asked his mother to step to the podium to pray for all those present. As she interceded fervently in Arabic, those in attendance could sense the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Invitation

As the service continued, Pastor Benny expressed his delight at having special guest Dottie Rambo present in the service. He invited her to the podium, requesting that she sing “Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome,” one of more than 2,500 songs she has written and one of Pastor Benny’s personal favorites.

As Dottie began singing the familiar words, a sweet presence of the Holy Spirit descended all over the arena and thousands joined their voices with hers to welcome the Holy Spirit into the arena.

Pastor Benny quickly moved toward a salvation message and an invitation to all who would to come to the Savior. As the choir sang verse after verse of “Just As I Am,” people of all ages streamed toward the front of the arena, filling every aisle.

Pastor Benny led those who had responded to the salvation call in the sinner’s prayer, and many shed tears of repentance as they whispered prayerful words of invitation.

Communion

Almost immediately, the candelabras were brought to the platform and the communion elements were distributed.

Pastor Benny read several familiar passages from Scripture, reminding the people of the events that surrounded Lord’s death and resurrection.

As the choir sang softly in the background, Pastor Benny invited the people to partake “in remembrance of Me.” Though each individual participated in their own way, it was an amazing expression of worship as thousands celebrated communion together.

Almost immediately, miracles began taking place throughout the auditorium, including these:

• A man, deaf when he entered the Honda Center, could suddenly hear perfectly. As Pastor Benny whispered, “Can you hear me?” the man responded quickly, “Yes, I can hear you!” The man’s face was radiant with excitement at what God had done for him.

• A woman who had suffered with a growth on her side came forward to testify that the growth had vanished. She kept feeling the area where the growth had once been, amazed by what had happened.

• A woman who had suffered for years with Parkinson’s disease was miraculously healed. She had been unable to walk on her own and she shook constantly. However, as God’s healing power descended, she stopped shaking and all her symptoms disappeared. She and her husband came to the platform to testify of God’s healing power. As she walked back and forth across the platform with Pastor Benny, the woman’s husband looked on in amazement, weeping tears of joy at what God had done for his wife.

• Many cancerous tumors disappeared, including abdominal tumors, breast cancer, and more.

• Many wheelchairs were emptied, leaving rows of metallic testimonies to God’s healing power!

• Two sisters came to the platform to testify that they had both been healed during the service. One sister had suffered with Parkinson’s disease; the other has suffered with cancer. As Pastor Benny listened to the two women, a young man and a young lady made their way to the platform. Pastor Benny noticed that the young people were weeping, so he asked who they were. He quickly discovered that they were the son and daughter of the woman who had been healed of cancer. They had responded to the salvation call earlier in the service. Now they watched and wept as their mother demonstrated that she no longer had any pain. She could bend over and move easily.

As Pastor Benny talked to the two sisters and the young son and daughter, another woman made her way up the steps to join the group. Pastor Benny quickly learned that this was the two women’s older sister—eldest of 14 children. She wiped the tears away as she explained how for years she had prayed for her niece and nephew to come to the Lord and tonight her prayers had been answered. She had also prayed many years for her two sisters who had suffered with cancer and Parkinson’s disease, and tonight they had been healed as well! The family hugged one another, rejoicing and weeping as they embraced one another.

There were many more miracles, but time did not allow for all those who had been healed to come to the platform to testify what God had done for them.

He Is Risen!

The praise and worship to the risen King of kings was powerful. Larnelle Harris, always a crowd favorite, brought people to their feet with powerful, anointed singing that was perfect for the Good Friday service—a worship medley with the choir as well as a song he has sung all over the world, "I've Just Seen Jesus." The teaching and communion were memorable. Those who attended the Benny Hinn Ministries Good Friday service in Anaheim will not forget what happened that evening, especially those who celebrated Easter this year with healed bodies and redeemed lives!
