Mighty Miracles Fill Orlando’s Convention Center

The city of Orlando, well known around the globe for popular tourist attractions such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Orlando Resort, and Gatorland, is also home to the Orange Country Convention Center, site for the year’s final Benny Hinn Ministries Training for Ministry Conference and miracle service. What happened there set the stage for what will surely be a historic year of God’s mighty miracles during 2008!

The Training for Ministry Conference held in Orlando on December 14–16, 2007, featured dynamic teaching by Pastor Benny Hinn on the topic of worship. By using the example of the Tabernacle, he outlined how a believer can enter into the presence of the Lord and begin to experience true worship.

In this conference Pastor Benny orchestrated the re-creation of the Tabernacle, providing a visual teaching tool to help those at the conference gain a clearer understanding. In the opening service, with magnificent orchestral background, the twelve tribes were presented with the assistance of volunteers representing the priests. One by one the name of each tribe was announced. A gentleman depicting the high priest wore priestly garments and an ephod adorned with the colorful stones described in the Bible. Dancers carrying palm branches joined in jubilant praise, dancing and rejoicing as the twelve tribes were introduced.

The linen colors of the Tabernacle hung about the outer court. As Pastor Benny taught about each area of the Tabernacle, he moved through it. In each area he explained each piece of furniture and each object and their role in worship.

The conference ended on Saturday evening with a time of praise and worship, adoring and magnifying the Lord Jesus.

Sunday’s Miracle Service
The weekend in Orlando closed with an exciting miracle service on the 16th. A choir of several hundred helped to create an atmosphere of praise and worship. Pastor Benny preached a straightforward message of salvation, challenging everyone to make a decision regarding their eternal destiny. As he extended the salvation invitation, hundreds of hands were raised all over the conference center. People of all ages then streamed forward, many with tear-stained faces in anticipation of what was about to happen. Pastor Benny led them in a prayer of repentance and surrender.

After a special performance by the choir, Pastor quickly moved into his faith-filled message on healing, offering scriptural examples of instances where Jesus healed all. As his message came to a close, a strong anointing for miracles descended, and people all over the auditorium began to feel God’s healing touch.

Mracles that happened during the service included these:

• A young woman in her twenties was healed of a cancerous brain tumor. She had been totally dependent upon an oxygen tank and could not function without it. Doctors had given her a negative report, telling her that she would not even live until next  year. As God’s healing presence touched her, she removed the oxygen tube and could breathe on her own. Feeling divine strength come into her body, she walked about, no longer weak!
• A person who couldn’t walk without the use of heavy leg braces removed those braces as God’s healing power began flowing through their legs. That person removed the leg braces and walked back and forth across the platform with no assistance, pain free and strong, marveling at what God had done!
• A woman in her twenties began to hear out of an ear, though humanly impossible. The inner ear had earlier been surgically removed, so there was no natural way for sound to be conducted. However, after she received a creative miracle and could hear completely, it was apparent that people throughout the convention center had seen a dynamic manifestation of God’s healing power!
• A lady came to the miracle service after suffering a long time with arthritis in her hands. As God’s power fell, she was totally healed and testified that she felt no more pain.
• A woman who had suffered for twenty years with fibromyalgia talked about the severe pain she had previously experienced, yet during the service all the pain and symptoms of the disease disappeared. She was literally freed from the bondage of this horrible disease.
• Another woman had suffered with a brain tumor that impaired her balance. Suddenly, she was healed and testified of having no more balance problems, showing she could walk without assistance.
• A tall gentlemen came forward to testify of God’s healing touch on his back. He had been injured sometime before, thereafter forced to rely on a cane to walk. However, he came to the platform running and jumping, holding the cane overhead as he rejoiced at what God had done for him!
• A lady had flown to Orlando from Brazil in search of her miracle. She came into the convention center on a scooter, overwhelmed with a number of problems, but she jumped off that scooter during the service. She said, “I knew that if I could just get to the service, I would be healed. I came expecting my miracle, and it was my day! I got my miracle!”
• A gentleman who had a slipped disc had suffered with severe pain for years. By the time he came to the platform to testify of God’s healing power, he could barely stop weeping tears of joy because all his pain was finally gone.
• Many were healed from the pain and limitation of arthritis.
• There were numerous healings from osteoporosis.
• A woman was healed of a rare disease called Meniere’s disease, a potentially disabling disorder of the inner ear. She had been unable to move and had suffered for some time with the disease, but during the service she was completely liberated from all the pain and problems caused by the disease!

Pastor Benny and his family were all present for the conference and miracle service, which offered a special time to reflect on memories from their years in Orlando and to reconnect with friends and many who attended Orlando Christian Center.
